That's an interesting question. Google is really everywhere these days, so blocking ALL of its domains really might just block the whole internet. I can't say that I know how to do that.

Glad you're addicted to MUO, though. We all are. :)

Is there a way of blocking all of Google's sites in general? I'm very wary of and bothered by their blatant, total disregard for privacy in recent months. I can't seem to go anywhere online without the status bar flashing "Google Ad Services" or "Google User Content" or something similar. As such I don't even use Facebook or Twitter; never have, never will. I've tried blocking *google* or even *oogle* as a keyword in my router's firewall, but then it seems I've blocked the whole entire Internet :-

It's kind of ironic, but I have to confess that I'm sort of addicted to MUO (obviously not making use of the site's title)! ^_^

I guess it could mean that. :)
But it does seem almost impossible to block ALL of google's domain sites with these tools. But anyway, these tools are meant for people who wish to block themselves, I'm sure big companies have better solutions. :)

Does this mean that if employers wish to block all google domain sites (almost impossible ) and the workers are forced to use alternative search engines, that's bing's/Yahoo's wet dream?
