Which Host Is Right for You?

Personally, I’ve been using Namecheap for four years and I’ve never had a single issue with them. It’s far from the cheapest on this list, but I’m willing to pay that little extra bit of money for the superior customer service.

If you have lots of web hosting experience and never need technical support, go for one of the $1.00 plans. If you plan to switch from shared hosting to VPS later on, you should consider starting off with RamNode and tackling the learning curve now rather than later.

These are mostly okay if you have ONLY 1 small site. Don't bother with any of these if you have multiple sites/domain names. Much better deals elsewhere ...

Yeah, definitely. I mean, if you're running multiple sites, it's probably best not to cheap out anyway. These are mainly for those who are newbies or don't have big sites and don't need top performance. Thanks Jerry!

    Thanks for the great article.

I have signed up with 97cents.net after reading this and was pleasantly surprised when support answered a few questions I had within a few minutes.

Site has been up 100% as far as I can tell, and the speed is fast (I am on the US server)

They seem to be the real deal.
