The Defragmenter is a GUI (Graphic User Interface) application for program Contig by Sysinternals.If you’re an average XP user the standard Disk Defragmenter utility will do a good job of keeping your drives defragmented and help to maintain peak system performance.

@Chris: No, it shouldn’t take 7 hours on a 80GB Hard disk. Try “Auslogics Disk Defrag” or “DisKeeper”. I tried Auslogics last week on a 80 GB hard disk.. it took roughly 25 minutes on both drives -
