    For an eclectic look at the world, gadgets but other stuff too, there's Gizmodo (oddest post this evening - This Professor Is Surgically Implanting a Camera in the Back of His Head, oddest picture - a single Chrysanthemum with 991 blooms).

    For a bit more traditional gadget focus there's Engadget.
