Torrents are by far the most popular form of file sharing. People use them to download audi, video, software, books, etc. In case you’re new to this then go straight to our mini tutotrial at the end of the post. As for all others, I would like to introduce you to a number of coolest torrent tools out there.
TORRENT SEARCH
(1) YouTorrent / PizzaTorrent – The only torrent search engines you will ever need. Both of them let you search for torrents on several popular torrent sources simultaneously. Search results can be sorted by various criteria, i.e. file size, number of seeds, peers and category (Pizzatorrent only).

TORRENT CLIENTS (DOWNLOADERS)
-
(2) Bitlet – Bitlet is a web-based torrent client that makes it easy to download torrents in places where you can’t install your own programs (work, college labs etc.)
(3) uTorrent (Windows) – Tiny, fast, user-friendly and extremely popular torrent client. Probably the best torrent client for Windows PCs. Suitable both for beginners and advanced users.
(4) TransmissionBT (Mac, Linux) – An equally good resource-friendly torrent client for Mac and Linux users. Simple, intuitive and absolutelly free.
Torrents mini-tutorial: What? How?
- 1. Before you can start downloading torrents you need to install a torrent client (see above).

Torrentflux I still think is the best.
TorrentFlux is a good application but I wouldn’t call it the best. Mainly because it runs only on Linux Machines.
For those who are in the dark here: “TorrentFlux is an open source bit torrent client for Linux, Unix & BSD platforms that runs on a web server.”
Excellent info on Torrents.
Excellent post…I have been using various Bit Torrent clients for years and had never heard of Pizza Torrent, TED, or Bitlet….excellent stuff. Thanks for bringing it to us.
Very helpful post.
BTW if you have a torrent, you can download it using FlashGet as well.
Didnt’ know abt that, thanks for sharing.
Another great post, I hope to see more of this in the future. Also if I can get a Hulu invite that would be great, I been on the wait list for ever. Thanks!
Sorry mate,
We had abt 500 invites but they were gone in abt 2-3 hours.
wow, excellent recommendations!!! finally a search like PizzaTorrent and YouTorrent!, i have always had to go into each torrent app and search for the programs, now it’s all in central place.
Thanks a bunch!!
I use the portable version of utorrent, that way you can take your torrents with you.
Yeah, i like it as well
Multitorrent (http://www.multitorrent.org) is a good web alternative
Pizza Torrent is dead =’(
And YouTorrent has become legalized!
Try btdig.com instead. imo much better than both pizza- and youtorrent. Has all the features of the other metasearch engines, but you can also download the torrents directly from the site instead of visiting some other advert-spammed torrent index. nice :)
youtorrent.com is not good for me,
but utorrent is the best client :D
Nice list, otherever there are much torrents finder on the net :)
Bye & 10x
hello guys I invite you to use one of (p2pfinder.com) new torrents search sites, take a look and tell me about, this is my favorite.
