    @jasray: On a budget laptop, lol? And what kind of work are the budget buyers going to be doing with their machines? Video/audio editing? Probably not. For word processing, spreadsheets, email, streaming video and internet, it won't be the hard drive that slows them down.

    No SSDs on the main laptops . . . not much of a deal. Figure on shelling out another $150 to replace the antiquated HDDs.
