Thank you for acknowledging my previous post with an answer.

The link is broken, get it? It has changed form that which I previously stated to a simple "Firefox can't find the server at www.dakota.theatticnetwork.net"

@Alek

A new server and Vista version won't be worth a dime if it cannot be found.

Hey
Just to let you all know I'm very good with computers and I never update unles a program I want to run needs it. I keep all my documents and file on my 1tb nas. I don't even use an antivirus maybe just a quick scan and uninstall every now and then but I find my computer runs so much faster without updates and antivirus. I've tried many different things to keep my computer running faster but when it does get bogged down after a couple of months I just reformat.

I ran across another site the other day that does Windows Updates: http://windizupdate.com/
I don't know anything about it, but wanted to throw it out there as another option.

thx a lot for this useful article
we are using a network based anti virus that server updates itself from Internet and then updates clients so the Internet bandwidth wouldn't be wasted for same data(anti virus updates) for all clients and other good point is clients do not bother with updating and even they don't know their anti virus is updating so I'm wondering if there is a way to have windows updates the same way? server downloads new patches and installs it on clients (whom do not care about updating their windows) by using bandwidth just once.

sorry for my bad english
