It's put out by Google...who else? Extremely easy to use and there are many forums for those who want to talk about it. I've been using Picasa since it first came out and have never ever been disappointed. I was tempted to buy Photoshop some time ago but reason prevailed and I stayed with Picasa...because it's FREE.
