is there any remote that works with Linux? I have an old laptop, core2 1,6 GHz. I put ubuntu+boxee on it and I use it with a wireless keyboard and mouse. However I would like to use a remotecontrol.

Awesome article. I have a very weak laptop (Celeron Processor) and I run Ubuntu on it, In my wait for a stable Boxee I tried XBMC, I liked it but my computer doesn’t have enough oomph to run it in 1080p, it’s weird since it runs Boxee on 1080p without breaking a sweat.

In the mean time I’ll try Mythbuntu or XBMC from a live USB Drive.
