If they can download and install a program, they can use crossloop to simply and securely provide free, unlimited, secure, VNC with file sharing. It’s run by Google and they will connect your call for free. As a side effect, it’s a great way to call long distance from home or even from a pay phone for free. As long as they’re listed in the phone book, you can call them for free. No time limit on connected calls either. Works from Canada but only lists US numbers.
