Free secure screen sharing over the internet. Check out CROSSLOOP at crossloop.com. It can have you sharing someone else’s screen in two minutes even if they know very little about computers! If they can download and install a program, they can use crossloop to simply and securely provide free, unlimited, secure, VNC with file sharing. If you play the role of SysAdmin to all you friends’ and family’s computers, have them download crossloop. Works OK with Vista, but you may want to have them at least temporarily disable UAC and warn them that Window$ Firewall will pop up the first time. Enjoy!
ANARCHY-TV.COM for the best videos fresh daily.

It’s run by Google and they will connect your call for free. As a side effect, it’s a great way to call long distance from home or even from a pay phone for free. As long as they’re listed in the phone book, you can call them for free. No time limit on connected calls either. Works from Canada but only lists US numbers.
@Mark
Wow, that’s a nice side effect.
Thanks for the tip.
Should have included RunFatBoy.net. Quite possibly the coolest name for a fitness site ever!

I can’t believe PimpMyNews.com isn’t on the list?? Guess it’s just building up steam since it’s new.
The first “talking” social news mash up…Has thousands of breaking news and blog posts every day – converts them to audio(mp3s) that you listen to on the site – or anywhere on an iPod, iPhone or other mp3 player.

The site is run by an over-weight guy who is looking to lose 30 pounds in the next 12 months. Check back often on his progress as he eats his way to a 36 inch waistline.
Here’s one that is brilliant:
http://www.guerrillamail.com/
It allows you to set up a temporary email address, which lasts for about 20 minutes. You can even receive email at the address if you’re waiting for a subscription confirmation. Great if you want to gain access to a site just to make sure it’s legit or for any site you suspect may be spammers.
You can think about adding Otengo (http://www.otengo.com) to your list. Otengo allows you to send very large files to your friends and family. It is a peer to peer application but very secure and reliable.
Thanks, will check it out.

Similar to RetailMeNot, but focused on ONLY sports, outdoor and athletic shopping, Shop at Home Sports offers hundreds of free sports coupons, free shipping codes, sports sales and free sports promotional offers.
Another useful but unusual site is http://www.ilasting.com. It is a site where people create online memorials for people who have passed away. It is a great service and although it seems unusual to some people now, it will be the way of the future.
I did the same when my dad passed away – gave him a hidden page on my web site as a cyberspace memorial. He had only just mastered the internet…
N

Also check out Seat Guru: http://www.seatguru.com/
It has a listing of every plane for most airlines worldwide. Helpful in figuring out where to sit on the plane, if you have the chance to choose your own seat.
BitBomb is actually lacking a lot of features that make a good text reminder site, including an attractive layout. haha.
I’d swap out bitBom for textReminders.net. Just my 2 cents.
