Full clients like Tweetdeck are for users who are very much interested in the full Twitter experience: posting status and photos, exploring hashtags, making lists, etc. Not everyone might want to do all of these.

I, for one, sometimes just want to post a text update. I can just use of the single-purpose apps I mentioned here to accomplish this task, with no noise from other users and no distractions. I wouldn’t want to rent a limousine to go to the grocery store when I can just bike there.

For users that aren’t interested in getting the full experirence, and just want to perhaps, express their states of mind, or look at statistics, there are also, clients to satisfy those needs, as I’ve outlined in the article. :)
