One more site I’ve stumbled upon recently: LiveKick.com
It lets you import your artists from the likes of Itunes, Pandora, Last.fm, iLike and easily manage them by scrubbing the list of those who ended up in your library/playlist but that you’re not interested into.
Not sure if it will work for Canada.

I have tried all the suggested sites on this page, as soon as people posted them.
So far, Eventful is the only website to do the job for Montreal/Quebec/Canada events.
Actually I find it very, very good. Very extensive listing. I even found some concerts of my favorite performers that I was not aware of.
For my location … way, way ahead of the others

The integration with iTunes is cool, and a great idea, but here’s my problem with it: I don’t care about most of the artists in my iTunes library. I listen to a lot more music than I would consider seeing live, and the number of bands I want to follow in concert is much smaller than my iTunes list. Integrating with iTunes, to me, seems like overkill.

These are all really cool, though – I’m definitely loving JamBase in particular.

Check out iLike – it has a tool bar that scans your iTunes OR WMP music folders and adds the bands it finds as bands you are interested in on iLike. Unfortunately it won’t tell you which albums you’re missing but it will update you on concerts coming to your area and albums being released. Also has a playlist “radio” type station similar to Pandora or Deezer.

Not only lists concerts in your area/town, but other events as well. The artist/group has to be registered w/eventful, though. I recommend it to all artists/bands as you get a widget that can be posted on any site where fans can ‘demand’ you in their town. Very handy for fans to show bands where their hard core fans are located.

Unfortunately … Simply did not work
Did not find two shows I know are going to take place in Montreal, Canada

All very cool suggestions. However, I have TONS of artists I want to keep up with. Is there a solution/app that will scan through my entire library and list the albums that are missing from each artist?

I don’t really feel like listing over 1000 artists in albumreminder…
