When you match up your pages,regardless of the number of pages, the matchups always total to the number of pages in the document PLUS one. e.g. Your eight page document matches each total nine : 1-8, 2-7, etc. 100 page document totals 101. 35 years in the newspaper business, and I never thought that would come in handy, again.
