except no one knows about blockland… I had no idea until i read this article.

You do realise that Minecraft multiplayer lets you GIVE resources so u dont actually have to go searching for supplies or tools or anything.

The difference between Minecraft and these games, is that Minecraft sells and Mojang clearly know to market their product.

I will admit though that Terreraria is becoming an increasingly popular game and Mojang are aware of this.

Actually, there is a survival mode in Blockland, and many more besides that. You can make mini games, such as knife TDM’s, Death Matches, Challenges, Survival RP’s, Racing Servers, the possibilities are endless. Do not forget about Zombies and other neat stuff as well. Blockland has Minecraft in the bag.

The problem is that infiniminer is that as a game, it doesn’t have anything on Minecraft or any of the other alternatives. It hasn’t even been in development by its creator for like, 2 years now, right?

Minecraft is coming to xbox this winter. I’m hoping the PS3 isn’t far behind so I can use those 1m cubed 16×16 low-res blocks on a hd widescreen.

Oh, and infiniminer deserves more than a mention – its code is the foundation of Minecraft as we know it (that’s my understanding anyway, it’s also the code fortresscraft is built on, hence the similarities)

Fortress Craft is very different from Minecraft, Fortress Craft is mining, and building, you don’t have to search for supllies, no animals. Yes graphics are alike, (FC is better i believe). They are alike, but not enough to get sued. You also forgot to mention how fun and addicting FC is. Trust me, I’m not a die hard fanboy, I enjoy Minecraft just as much, but you were too hard on FC, i like it also because it is XBL and i can talk to friends.
