playdeb looks impressive. Does playdeb work only on Debian and Ubuntu based machines or does it work on all Linux distributions like Fedora, Slackware and so on ?

Just search for the game and click the box. It will come up with an option to remove the game.

Or you can type “sudo apt-get remove [name of game here]” into the terminal.

The upcoming Ubuntu Software Center will replace synaptic probably.
