Some British men are still quite arrogant to the shifts unfortunately. Some linguists even beleive the ‘lads mags’ mens magazines are a desperate attempts to try to uphold sexist and patriachal views of the past and are a backlash against feminism. I think as these old timers drift away, we’ll have a equal and stable view on social positions being individually based, rather than gender based.

I totally agree. Women are slowly taking over the occupation sectors which were male dominated a few decades ago and less and less men are the breadwinners of a lot of families now. Its a change in the times and some men don’t want to accept it!
