2. Neosistec CarFinder

Can’t remember where you parked your car in that large parking lot? When you leave your car, open CarFinder’s simple menu and mark your location through your Blackberry’s GPS. When you need to find your car (or another specific point) again, pull up CarFinder and it will guide you back via a compass or the Blackberry Maps application. I don't have a Blackberry at all (yet), and I wasn't trying to download their program, Grant. When I clicked on the link given in the article, this is what I saw at the bottom of their page:
"Sorry, Carfinder is currently not available for your BlackBerry smartphone and OS."

There were no options to download anything or even to specify which model of Blackberry I was using (or planned to use). Click on the link in the article from your home computer and see what YOU get...

That would be because, as I mentioned before the link, that is a mobile website and you should visit it from your Blackberry (because it uses automatic browser detection and won't let you get it otherwise).

There is a direct download available ( here for the .JAD BB app file itself, but otherwise that is the only page that has a real feature list for the application that the company publishes.

A great over-all article on apps for the Blackberry smart 'phone, but when you check out the Neosistic "CarFinder" app, their web page clearly states: "CarFinder is not available for your Blackberry Smart Phone".

Do you have, or can you find a similar but WORKING app?

Can I ask what kind of Blackberry you have? That's a bit odd of their site!

The version that will work on the blackberry storm verizon unit is so check it out, my video is working again and I can once again use this app after my software upgrade for the phone.

The Qik video application does not work on the Blackberry storm. Only if you have OS .75 and not the latest update for the storm, so don't waste your time trying to get it to work. It just makes the video blurry, but the sound is great.
