If you’re interested, you should definitely check out “Thunderbolt” by Bjork, which came out last year on her album Biophilia (which btw, features a whole lot of wacky instruments, including some she helped create!), and features the Tesla Coil as the main instrument. She did an amazing live version at Jools Holland using the Tesla Coil, which is on Youtube.
