I like the way that the Google Doodle for the first day of spring was correct for us southern hemispherians using google.com.au or google.co.nz . When you click on the doodle, it does a search for that topic or holiday- I think it was especially classy that, half way through the day, they changed the search from “first day of fall” to “first day of autumn”. It all just felt a little less American to me.
