The popular Apple ad slogan “There’s an app for that” rings pretty true, especially in the case of health care software for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad.

While there are several dozens paid applications in this category, you’ll be pleased to know there are a good number of free options that will address many of the exercise and health related needs of iOS users. From calorie counters, fitness apps, to kids’ health information; these apps can be very useful in helping us take better care of ourselves and our loved ones.
