10 Free Chiptune & Video Game Soundtrack Albums [Sound Sunday]

soundsunday 10 Free Chiptune & Video Game Soundtrack Albums [Sound Sunday]Sound Sunday is often inspired by readers like yourself. The material for this edition was collected over several months, following the request of Luca in January this year.

All of the albums demonstrate skill and passion for the chiptune genre. My personal highlight this week is Viking Guitar Productions’ expression of hard rock and metal with 8-bit music. It’s the chiptune flavor I can best identify with.

This week Aivi & Surasshu – The Black Box was my favorite. Chiptune might not be my cup of tea. Saying that, it was interesting to listening to them all

Luca Vignando

Great selection, thanks for following my suggestion.

May now suggest for a future post a different kind: cross genre music, let’s make an example: Kraftwerk played very good and peculiar music, and Baladescu quartet from Romany plays cover of Kraftwerk with violins and a gipsy style.
