I've never bought a weather app before, and that's because I'm pretty pleased with the one Apple bundled with iOS. It's not going to win awards, but it's simple and it works. So why then, did I buy a weather app called Haze the other day? It's probably got something to do with the rather unique approach Haze takes to telling you what the weather is like. This is to weather apps what Clear is to note-taking apps.

Twitter announced this week that it will be discontinuing support for its Adobe AIR version of TweetDeck, as well as TweetDeck for Android and iPhone. The social network says it will be removing these applications from their respective stores in May, and that the apps themselves will stop working shortly thereafter. Facebook integration is also being discontinued.

If you've done that yourself, you'd be happy to know that Google has just launched a new update to its mobile mapping service that makes it even more appealing for Apple device owners. This new update adds awesome features such as Google Contacts integration and improved local search results.

Google Chrome on iOS is catching up in terms of version number with the release of Chrome 25 for iOS. The update adds a couple of useful new features and, of course, plenty of bug fixes and stability improvements. Chrome 25 does not work on jailbroken iOS devices. If your device is jailbroken, do not update the application yet. Google is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.

Traffic Rush is like those “Miniclip games” which we all have played at one time or the other. Such projects include completing a daily creative self-portrait project, keeping a private online jazz music appreciation journal, and reading 50 books in 52 weeks. My project for this year is based on an app called 1 Second Everyday, which consists of capturing a second of my life for an entire year.
