How You Know You Spent Too Long Playing Arcade Games In The 1980s…

The problem with arcade games — as with any kind of video games, old or new — was their addictive qualities that suck you in and refuse to let go until you (and your dwindling pool of money) are exhausted. Which invariably means you spent too long playing these early gaming gems.

MakeUseOf Hits Classic Game Convention MAGFest 12 With Video

Anyone who in even remotely into classic video games has heard of Magfest, which takes place each year in Maryland, USA. But there’s more to the convention than just the retro stuff. I Promise Steam Early Access Isn’t Ruining Gaming [Opinion]

Steam’s Early Access program allows developers to sell Alpha versions of games currently in development. The system gives players the opportunity to speak with their wallets if they want to support a work in progress and grants them a venue to send feedback to the developer on games before they’re feature complete. I’d like to lay out a defense to the nay saying going on out there. Maybe, just maybe, I can turn your opinion around on the whole operation.
