I've made it a point to highlight League of Legends pretty narrowly in many of my recent posts related to gaming. The game is absolutely huge and it's only going to continue growing larger. In just days, Riot will be hosting an LCS All-Star event that is expected to receive stream viewers up into the millions. The new season's competitive structure allows any individual player or team to have a realistic shot at competing with the very best.

World War I Aircraft Action In Rise Of Glory for Windows Phone

One of my fondest gaming memories is Wings, a World War I fighter plane arcade simulator released on the Amiga back in 1991. It was the first game in which I was able to create a profile, it offered three different gaming options within the pilot’s career and most of all it was hugely playable and addictive. Sadly over the years I've never been able to find a game that comes close. Rise of Glory is a Windows Phone game with a similar premise.

Microsoft recently told tech pub The Verge that it will ditch the system in preparation for its new console release. I still remember the exact day that I unboxed my Nintendo 64. I've always been a huge gamer and a bit of a nerd, and that console was a big step for me. Playing my NES, SNES, and Genesis every day became a thing of the past once I got my hands on Wave Race 64, Super Mario 64, and Diddy Kong Racing. I never picked those consoles up again. The Nintendo 64 is definitely one of the best gaming consoles of all time.

About a month ago I got hooked on a little game known as Dota 2 , and I’ve been playing it nonstop ever since. I tried League of Legends initially, and for some reason, it did not click with me. A friend convinced me to give Dota 2 a shot, but I was reluctant after not liking LoL , but after about a week of wearing me down, I gave in and decided to try it out. It grabbed me instantly, and I am incredibly happy that I tried it.
