Might want to add to the list of previous/current shortcuts Alt-Tab. Unlike using the Windows button and tab, it cycles through both your metro apps AND your open desktop applications (rather than just the desktop mode itself). Alt-Ctrl-Tab also works. Same thing when using the Shift key in those combos (instead of or along with Ctrl).
Hi! Thank you very much for this shortcut list. I just mentioned in the MUO article http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/10-end-of-the-year-tech-related-new-year-resolution-recommendations/ that I am going to learn shortcuts for the first time! I have just got my Windows 8 machine and want to be more productive making common tasks much faster so this cheat sheet is very much handy. Thanks again!
