I pretty much love everything about Google, except for Google docs. It is possibly the most dreadful application I have ever used. It’s anti-intuitive, it doesn’t play well with MS word and it has a horrible lag/response time. When will Google realize, this application is subpar and let Gmail users start opening documents in MS office, rather than forcing Google docs on users!

Every document suite ties users to its own features. But there are ways around it. For instance, you can easily synchronize your MS Docs with Google Docs and vice versa. The one thing I have found with document editors is that the more you use it, the more intuitive it gets for you.
