The guide is awesome. However, as the BTC exchange rate changes (fluctuates) every day, so do some new things have come up since the last publish. I hope a newer version with some updates will be coming up in a few days!

looks like a scam? The download works fine, those who experience issues are prbably using Intenter Explorer and didn’t read download instructions properly.

i had few issues with the manual, namely the Securely Sync Your BitCoins for Mac OS X part:
1) 100MB for the VED isn’t enough. The Bitcoin file in Library has 129MB.
2) Even after dedicating 300MB, the Bitcoin clients exits shortly after start quoting low disk space.
3) OS X Lion won’t let you see the Library folder in Finder. You have to use the Go To menu or do it in Terminal.
4) Make sure you eject the DMG used to install the Bitcoin application in the first place – otherwise the system will use “/Volumes/ Bitcoin 1″ as the address for the Truecrypt-mounted file. Also in Terminal the last part of the link must read “/Application Support/Bitcoin” with a “” before the space.
