Also finding the files is tough and gathering them up in 1 location. Each place you purchase them from wants to put them in their own secret location.

My Current Software & Readers are
Windows XP & 7 Kindle for PC and Nook for PC
Linux Ubuntu FBReader & Calibre
iOS I have iBooks, Google Play Books, Kindle, Nook, and Logos & Olive Tree Bible Software Readers.
I have not Figured out where to settle yet. The Apple platform give the most diverse file format, but i cannot read them on my PC. The Google Play Books, Kindle, Nook all have a cloud feature that allows me the ability to move from device to device. Apple has the iCloud to move from apple device to apple device. I am looking at installing Calibre on my Windows PC too which will allow me to convert files. I am leaning toward the Kindle, Nook or FBReader platforms based on the versatility of platforms and user interfaces.

Peter, If you could provide a few more details which readers and software you are using now and under which reader you would like to unite your books and on what operating system, then I'm sure our team over at MakeUseOf Answers can suggest a few possible solutions to you.

I have been searching for a way to bring my collection of book from several eReaders together under 1 reader, so I do not have to search the readers and then the books. Thanks for the help
