An Idiot’s Guide To Photoshop: Part 2

Photoshop can be quite difficult, if you throw yourself at it without preparation. You’ve probably got no clue how everyone gets that wizardry done!

This guide starts right at the very bottom, assuming no knowledge at all, and walks you through all basic aspects in 30 illustrated pages.

The guide has two parts, each authored by different people. On this page you can download part 2, to download Idiot’s Guide To Photoshop part 1 go here.

Among other things it shows you how to cut out items, remove the background from the image, make an image black and white, adding a fake tattoo, whiten teeth with the dodge tool, remove red eyes and more.

    whats up with that stupid little window that comes up in middle of screen ? How do you expect people to know how to us it ? It needs to be able to enlarge, so we can actually see what it is we are trying to make us of………

      Thanks for the comment. ARe you still not able to download the guide? Are you using Internet Expolorer 8 by any chance? Did you try any other browser like Chrome or Firefox?
      These two browser should work without any issues. The Internet Explorer 8 on the other hand sometime
      works, sometimes it doesn’t.

    If anyone is having a problem as such on clicking the “Download It Now” Pop Up Screen, just Right-Click on the “Download It Now” link and click on open link in new tab or new window. That should solve the problem.

    hey genius(Bs73501), try saving the booklet to your hard drive. There’s a icon in the shape of a Floppy disk on the toolbar that will let you save it. Then you will be able to open it and view it in full size.

      there is no part 1. As far as I know, this is an overhauled second version of the guilde

      The download link is the link to a PDF document. It’s several MBs large, so depending on your internet connection it may take a while to download.

    Makk, you’re right. I foolishly repeated an information I received when forwarding the respective comments to who I thought could fix the issue. Since the complaints didn’t stop, though, I did the research myself just the other day and found what you point out above…as you already noticed from my comment below. :)
