Mega Button – Your All-In-One Solution For Google Chrome Settings In One Click [Chrome]

Chrome is, without a doubt, one of the best browsers available. However, one of its drawbacks is the lack of accessibility to its settings. If you’re curious about what I mean, go and find the Chrome Extensions page. Too easy? OK, go try and find the Chrome Memory page….perhaps you know where that is too, but how many steps did you have to go through to find it? If searching Google was one of them, stop counting – that’s too many steps already.

TripIt – A Travel Organizer That Makes Remembering Your Travel Plans Easy [iOS]

Traveling is a giant pain in the rear. You have to book all of your flights, hotels, rental cars, dinner reservations, and so on. After you book it, you have to keep track of all the important times and information for the trip. Sure, once you get to your destination and start doing all the fun stuff, it is enjoyable, but the preparation for a trip is usually less than pleasant. Thankfully, we live in the age of smartphones, where applications can help make everything easier.

2013 Is Microsoft’s Most Important Year Yet – For All The Wrong Reasons [Opinion]

Microsoft has a lot of work to do to come out of 2013 with a spring in its step. 2012 was not Redmond’s year, and demand for Windows 8 can be described as lukewarm, with the uptake rate recently slipping behind Vista – a release many Windows users remember for all the wrong reasons. Here’s why 2013 means so much to Redmond, Ballmer, and the PC collective.

CDBurnerXP – A Great Burning Tool For CDs DVDs, Blu-Rays & ISOs [Windows]

Optical discs are not forever, but although they are losing significance, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs are still a great medium for long term backups, given you store them right and don’t use them as your only backup method. In other words, do keep a backup of your optical discs. To burn discs, you need a versatile utility that masters all of these tasks.

Does Google Offers Stand a Chance Against Groupon?

A little while after Groupon first got started, I signed up and followed the daily deals for my area religiously. I waited patiently for the perfect deal to roll in, and in a few cases I actually took advantage of the deals. But after about a year or so, the type of deals seemed to start repeating themselves. Recently, I stumbled across Google Offers. Is there any real differences between the two?

Sony Launches Social Alarm Clock On The PlayStation Vita [Updates]

Sony has just rolled out a new social alarm clock feature for the Playstation Vita called Wake-up Club that is designed to make getting up in the morning feel more like a game and less like an arduous task. The idea behind this is that you set your alarm, and Vita automatically connects you with other users who have set their alarm for the same time as you.

What Is The Windows Registry Editor & How Do I Use It? [MakeUseOf Explains]

The Windows registry can be scary at first glance. It’s a place where power users can change a wide variety of settings that aren’t exposed elsewhere. 7 Most Important Websites We Can’t Live Without

The World Wide Web (now more commonly known simply as the Web) has been with us for over 20 years now, and in that relatively short space of time it has unequivocally changed the world.
