Letterpress – An Addictive New Word Game You Won’t Want To Put Down [iOS]

Letterpress is a brand new word game that comes to us courtesy of Tweetie creator Atebits. Available as an iOS app, the new word game will likely have you glued to your iPhone screens. Deceptively simple on the surface – both in concept and design – Letterpress is a must-have for anyone who’s a fan of word games. Bringing with it elements of Boggle, and the spirit of connect the dots – the game has the potential to be the next big addiction.

Are Your USB Ports Too Close Together? Here’s How to Fix It!

If you’re like me, you probably make good use of USB on your PC, from connecting keyboards and printers to smartphones, USB flash memory, Bluetooth, 3G or Wi-Fi dongles, headsets, game controllers and more. How To Look Good On a Webcam

Here’s a little something many of us dread – webcam meetings. It’s one thing to chat with friends and family using Skype or Google Hangouts, but it’s another thing completely to try to look good and maintain a professional image for a webcam meeting. The same sense of dread can apply to anyone who has to record video for a presentation or for a show they’re hosting.

Use Public Transport Efficiently Or Decide Where To Live By Estimating Travel Times With Mapnificent [Chrome]

If planning is too much of a bother, try out a Chrome app (which directs you to the main web application) like Mapnificent. Mapnificent shows you areas you can reach with public transport in your city in a given time. Based on just that information, you can decide where to live, work, and thus save money. Mapnificent visualizes the data on an overlay on top of Google Maps. Let’s see how.

How To Set Up A Live Skype Audio Broadcast With A Chatroom [Mac]

Now that our little Technophilia Podcast has amassed over 500 weekly listeners (guys, we love you), we’ve been looking for ways to interacts with listeners in real-time while we record live. That’s no easy task. We’ve been experimenting with just a chatroom, but without a live audio broadcast too it’s not very compelling for people to participate. So today, I’m going to share an easy way to broadcast your Skype audio (both yours and your co-hosts) to a Mixlr stage.
