How Do You Shop for Christmas & Beyond? [We Ask You]

For many people this is a time when shopping becomes an unavoidable task, even if they avoid it like the plague for the other 11 months of the year. Those of us who celebrate Christmas tend to buy gifts for our nearest and dearest. Sure, Christmas is essentially a religious holiday, but consumerism also plays a part in proceedings. VJing has its roots in the 70s when audio and visual performances began to converge and eventually resulted in music video, a trend kickstarted thanks to MTV. Over the last 40 years technology has improved to the point at which we can now mix video and music in HD resolution on a device we carry around every day.

Move the Box: A Logic-Based Puzzle Game With a Boxy Twist [Android]

I love puzzle games. I love that I can play them on my Android and I love that there are so many puzzle games available on Google Play. Logic-based puzzle games are the best as my brain can use all of the exercise it can get. There’s always Sudoku and Unblock Me, which are classics, but here’s another classic that deserves recognition. Once you see Move the Box, you’ll recognize it immediately if you’ve been a casual gamer for any period of time.

Need a Disposable Email Address? Try These Great Services

Disposable emails are not a new idea. In fact they’ve been around almost as long as email has (well, almost). In case you’ve never used one, disposable emails are fake email addresses you can give to people you don’t trust, to services you suspect of sharing your address, and on any situation where you don’t want to use your real address. You can either read emails received to this address on a Web interface, or receive them to your real inbox.

3 Archives That Will Bring You Back Into The Days Of GeoCities

Today, free web hosting is a thing of the past. Major search engines like the aforementioned Yahoo! and Google weren’t such monsters yet, either. You could search for popular keywords and some of the first results would actually be free websites running on GeoCities, made by people just like you and I. Here are some ways to venture back in time and see the remains of one of the coolest internet time capsules ever.

How to Send Sensitive, Secure Emails, Passwords, and Files Without Fear

So, here’s a common case: You need to share a password with someone, but if you just email it to them, it’s going to languish in their inbox and be exposed to any future hacker that might gain access to their account. No matter your scenario, I’ve rounded up several solid ways to get your data across securely and privately.
