What Are Personalized Mixes on Spotify?
Spotify takes into account the artists, genres, and decades you listen to the most to create customized playlists just for you. If you only feel like listening to one artist, you can pick a list with just their songs. If you want a wider selection, you can go for a specific genre.
The main benefit is that Spotify builds these playlists based on the songs and artists you listen to the most. So you'll always find some familiar bops in them to get you going. However, there will also be new discoveries, based on your taste, to keep things interesting.

Find Your Personalized Spotify Mixes (Desktop)
Finding the Made For You mixes on your desktop is different whether you log in through the Web Player or the desktop app. You can even download and install Spotify on a Chromebook.
Spotify Web Player
- Click Search on the left-hand menu.
- Scroll down a little.
- Under Browse all you can find an icon with the title Made For You.
Spotify Desktop App
If you use the desktop app, there is a convenient Made For You link on the left-hand menu, beneath Your Library.
Find Your Personalized Spotify Mixes (Mobile)
- Launch the app on your phone and tap the Search at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down until you see Browse all.
- The Made For You box should appear under that title.
Make Your Own Playlists
