1. MakeUseOf.com recommends dozens of cool websites and free products/services on a daily basis. In most cases, we test the services and apps thoroughly beforehand. We would like to state that we cannot be held liable/responsible for any loss/damage/discomfort occurred as a result of using a MakeUseOf recommended product/service.

2. Any personal information you provide to us including and similar to your name and e-mail address will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of MakeUseOf.com. However, if a software or service were redeemed using your MakeUseOf points from our Rewards page or if you participate in a giveaway, your email address might be provided to the relevant vendor for registration/activation and ongoing support purposes.

4. For newsletter management and distribution, MakeUseOf uses services offered by Dyn and Google’s Feedburner. 5. MakeUseOf.com will never ask for credit card details and request that you do not enter them on any of the forms on MakeUseOf.com. You may be able to pay MakeUseOf via PayPal for certain services but we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.

6. MakeUseOf.com is not responsible for the content of external internet sites. You are advised to read the privacy policy of external sites before disclosing any personal information.
