Youtube Center Aligned: Shift YouTube To The Center From The Left

People buy large computer screens to enjoy their videos. The videos being mentioned are not only DVDs and digital video files that are stored, but also YouTube videos. Thanks to the high definition videos offered by YouTube, people with large computer screens can easily visit YouTube and have fun watching lots of videos in detailed high definition. But the videos streamed are not necessarily viewed by people in the full screen mode. Therefore YouTube’s interface should be a viewer-friendly one.

This was true till a while ago when YouTube changed its interface so that everything would be aligned to the left most side of the webpage. For people with large displays, this is a highly inconvenient way to browse content and stream videos. Thankfully there is a tool called Youtube Center Aligned that fixes this inconvenience.

Youtube Center Aligned is a free to use browser tool that pulls YouTube’s content from the left most pane to the center pane. The tool is basically a browser script that you can get for Chrome and Firefox using the Greasemonkey add-on. When you visit YouTube after that you will find that the interface centers all of the content.

For video players that are larger than 1280 pixels in width, the content under them can also be centered or left in the left pane under the video.

Features:

  • A user-friendly browser script.
  • Compatible with Chrome and Firefox.
  • Centers content on YouTube.
  • Can center content under video wider than 1280px.
