Wondering what videos were removed from YouTube due to copyright reasons ? Youtomb is the place to find it out. Youtomb is an interesting project from MIT folks that scans growing database of YouTube videos and finds videos that were removed by the user or taken down by Youtube staff. Although you won’t be able to watch those videos, you can see why and when they were taken down, and who requested the take down.

YouTomb is currently monitoring 223688 videos, and has identified over 4400 videos that were taken down for alleged copyright violation. Furthermore it found more than 13000 videos that were taken down for other reasons.

BTW, is there any way to find the link of deleted Youtube videos?
There is a website http://www.deletedyoutube.ftvteen.com/, but you need to know the original video URL though.
