Application responsiveness is always a key factor for web apps, but especially mind mapping, where the application needs to respond instantly in order to keep your brainstorm flowing. The Wisdomap interface is too laggy for me...and not nearly as intuitive as MindMeister, which is what we've been using. However I would love to see some of the Wisdomap features appear on MM -- esp. the ability to attach images and longer descriptive text.

But quick, easy interface is king, especially for collaborative purposes. I've documented MindMeister's key features, and our workflow for using it, on our blog.

I wasn't impressed with this initial version of Wisdomap. Their decision to separate images, links and other meta data from the topics to which they're related seems odd. I asked the developers why, and they told me that they made this decision to keep the map layout as clean and uncluttered as possible. Click here to read my review of Wisdomap.
