To install the extension in Google Chrome, just head over to the extensions page then click install. Then whenever your have too many Chrome windows you can click the icon in the navigation bar to merge all tabs into one window.

This is a very useful extension, especially for the sites I must access at work. Unfortunately, the sites I need are designed for IE. Is there a similar extension for IE? Is there one for Firefox (as I could use Firefox and view the sites using the IE Tab extension). Thanks again, Andrew

Yeah, shortly after I posted I thought to look for one, found it, and downloaded it. It works perfectly. It’s very slick. I only wish it would work with the “Create application shortcut…” feature. But you can’t run IE Tab in a chrome window.
Still, I’d love to find similar extensions for IE and Firefox. IE remains my primary browser at work and Firefox at home.
