Tweets and Facebook statuses do not have a visual dimension to them. This is why you cannot fully explain yourself using only such social sharing. What you need is a platform that helps you highlight aspects of your life using images – a place where you can share status updates and information with your friends about yourself in the form of images. Here to provide you with that platform is a tool called WeHeartPics.
WeHeartPics is a smartphone application compatible with iOS devices. The app is sized at nearly 11 MB and can run on iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad devices running iOS version 4.0 or later. The app is essentially a social network that relies completely on photographs from your daily life. Instead of sharing textual details about your life such as your favorite books and foods, you upload their pictures along with descriptions to help your friends visualize the life you live. Your friends are eager to have a look at the things you own and the things you do – sharing pictures instead of just words makes it much better.
The network helps you add ‘stories’ for each update. You can select what kind of a story you are going to share and then proceed accordingly.
Your updates appear under Timeline, Stories, and things you have marked as private.
You can subscribe to updates of friends and people can ‘like’ their favorite images of yours.
Recently the app added important updates that make it easier to sign up; now you can sign up using your email address instead of connecting your Facebook or Twitter account. Facebook integration is also offered by the network because of which you can connect with your Facebook Timeline, News Feed, and Ticker. The images on the network can also be pinned to your Pinterest page.
