WeFi: Find Wifi In Your Area
It is really hard to find a good wi-fi connection when you are in a different city. Even after you have found one, you have questions like is it free or paid, how is the speed, is this the best hotspot around me right now? WeFi is a service that helps you solve all these problems. It maps hotspots all around the world and lets you find wifi in your area when you need it. Just go to Wefi.com, enter your address and WeFi would show you a map of hotspots near you.

Using desktop client has it’s own advantages, whenever you need a connection it would find the connections near you and automatically connect to the best network, and if its a new hotspot, it would add it to the WeFi hotspot directory so others can use it too.
Some main features of WeFi include:

lol tried it and it positioned me in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales… about 200 miles north of my current position! Works well otherwise though…
My experience is that one must download their
software in order to get a map of hotspots.
I don’t want to automatically connect to anything!
If someone can demonstrate how to get a map of hotspots
from remote, I’d be pleased to be informed.
