WebValuer: Website Price Calculator

So you’ve been running a website or a blog for quite sometime now. Ever wondered what’s your website worth? Ever thought how much would you get if you decide to sell it off ? Web Valuer is a website which aims to help you with just that. It tags itself as a website price calculator and estimates your website’s value based on its Alexa rank and the number of domains linking to it.

It then assigns it a monetary value which is the estimated price according to it if you happen to sell your website.

Keeping aside the accuracy factor (I found most of the results are way off), I’d say that it’s certainly a nice fun tool to play with. And as you can see, it values my blog at a cool $66,162. Anyone interested? :)

    Tested the website:www.stormriders2movie.com with WebValuer. It is worth US$$2,192.60. So high? Believe it is not so accurate report since it is already tested with other website valuers which claims lower value. What gives?

    Hi! You should also consider http://www.estimix.com They provide a nice summary of the website performance. I trust that you’ll find this very useful cause it seems to use the Alexa traffic information quite well and provides much better traffic information.

    Thanks for the info, when valuating sites you should defiantly consider http://www.websitevaluebot.com as it will give you a comprehensive value based on everything except true revenue which is the only real way to work a websites value out, 6-12 monthly revenue = true market value.
