Improve your touch typing skills with this really cool online typing game. You’ll be given some text and asked to type it in. The goal is to type the given text accurately and fast, and make your car reach the finish point ahead of the others. You can race against other folks in real time or practice on your own. Overall, it’s a useful service if want to take your typing speed to the next level or just want to take a free typing speed test.

I downloaded the 2000 demo version of TYPING OF THE DEAD (for PC) and love it also — an excellent way to get faster typing, and so much fun. Adrenalin concentrates the mind! Can’t remember how I got to the download place for the PC demo version. It was difficult to find; you can try googling it. Apparently a new version for PC (made in Japan) is going to come out later this year.

I’d be interested in learning about any other typing “game”. Gotta mix it up — I’m determined to quit wasting my life typing slowly.
