Translate Selection: Instantly Translate Text Blocks From Webpages

Translate Selection is a handy translation plug-in for the Chrome browser that lets you instantly translate a text selection from a webpage. To see how it works, install the plug-in to your Chrome browser. Once installed the icon will appear to the right of the address bar. Before you start, configure language pairs you want to use on webpages (English->Spanish, Italian->English etc). It automatically detects the language of the source text, so you don’t have to select the source language every time.

When you are on a webpage, simply select the text you want to translate and click on the icon. A window will pop up with the original text and its translation. You can choose from your configured language pairs to see different translations. Alternatively, you can translate the text without clicking on the browser icon every time. When you select the text on the webpage simply right-click with your mouse and choose “Translate selection” from the menu.

This looks as if it deserves a trial run. Will-do!
