Trademarkia: Search US Registered Trademarks

Establishing a new company is hard – very hard. Not only do you have to worry about money, promotion, ideas, sales, investors, your premises, bills and clients – you also have to worry about not breaking the law. One of the most frequently broken laws in business is that of Trademark law. Logos and slogans to put it simply.

Trademarkia can help new and existing businesses by searching through every trademark registered in the US since 1870 to see if they’re breaking any laws. There are several different search functions for all different kinds of trademarks such as brands, names and logos.

Above you can see how I searched for ‘lion’ under the logo search function. I was given every logo registered since 1870 that depicts a lion in anyway. These ranged from modern services and company logos to old emblems dating back to the 19^th century that were used for local militias and organizations in the US.

You can also search for trademarks (both active and dead) registered by different companies and by their theme or subject matter.

This is a very useful resource for companies which could save them a lot of money by not employing people to do this research for them.
