TokBox: Add Video Chat to Your Blog or Profile
Tokbox is a free web-based video chat and messaging application that can be either used from TokBox.com or directly from your profile page (ex. Myspace). It takes only a couple of clicks to get started and there is absolutely nothing to install or download. All you need is a webcam and a broadband internet connection. Here’s how it works:
1 – sign-up and create your ownTokBox room.
2. – invite others to a live video chat by sharing with them a link to your TokBox room.
TokBox Features:
- Invite someone for a video chat by sending them a link to your TokBox room.
- Share and embed your TokBox room on your blog, website or social networking profile (MySpace, Facebook, etc.). Once embedded, your visitors will be able to launch video chat with a click of a button (”Push to Talk”). If you aren’t available they will be able to leave you a video message (up to 5 min. long).
- Set your rooms to public or private modes.
- Got more questions? See TokBox FAQ page here.

How integrate tokbox video chat on my blog?
I use Fnkmedia’s Zeus Flash Video Chat because they let more people be on cams not just two.
The video message service is really cool, this really makes me want to get a webcam. And amazing that you can just embed the whole thing in another site. This seems really useful, thanks for posting.
