The web has an abundant collection of online image editors. Most of these editors are meant for small tasks such as cropping photos and resizing them. But what if you are after an online image editing tool that offers more than those two little features? ThePicLab is one option that comes to mind.

ThePicLab is a free to use website that lets us edit our pictures in a number of ways. We are not required to create an account on the site and can start uploading images right away. We can also upload an image over an image i.e. layer over a layer.

Standard image editing features, that are present on other image editing sites, are of course available (rotation, cropping, resizing). But ThePicLab has more to offer in terms of filters: we can apply various filters to our images and give them a brilliant look. Amongst many others, these filters include grayscale, jittering, selective blur, emboss, negative, polarize, and rasterize.

When done with our image we can download it back to our computer or email it directly from the site.
