While I am sure it’s true that current email address harvesters don’t currently extract addresses in this format, there is no reason why they cannot. It’s a pretty simple form of encoding, after all.

Still, I doubt anyone will make a huge effort to check for this encoding and decode it, at least until enough people start using it to make it worthwhile.
