Tastekid looks like a search engine with a search bar right in the middle of its homepage, however it is actually a recommendation engine which helps you find stuff related to your search query.

As it mentions, it helps you find similar music artists and bands, recommends movies you’re like to enjoy, and helps you find similar books. The user interface is attractive with dark, solid colors and it successfully finds relevant stuff for you. For example, I searched for the movie ‘ The Departed ‘ and it returned results like ‘ Gangs of New York ‘ and ‘ American Gangster ‘ which a departed fan would certainly love to watch.
