Changing your computer’s wallpaper from time to time gives it a fresh look. But looking for suitable wallpapers and deciding on one can be time consuming. Here to automate the process for you is an application called Pulse.

Pulse is a free desktop application for Windows computers. It automatically fetches new wallpapers from the Internet and sets them on your desktop. The program comes as folders and an executable that does not require any installation. To get these, you download a ZIP archived sized at 185KB. Opening the EXE file runs the program; it sits in your System Tray and this is where you can access its options from.

Using the options you can control the wallpaper resolutions, delete old pictures, and set Pulse to automatically download images. The wallpaper is changed every twenty minutes. You can change it sooner by using the “Next Picture” option available from the System Tray icon.
