If you frequently need to edit both video and audio files and you use different software for each, then you might want to give this new tool called FileLab a try. As you’ll see on the site’s homepage, FileLab provides editing features for both video and audio files.

You’ll need to install the apps on the desktop, which then connects with the browser as a plugin and lets you quickly launch a video or audio file in the browser so you can edit it online. You can add effects, trim the tracks, and more, using this tool.

FileLab allows you to add effects and overlays to videos, and filters to audio tracks. The interface for both is easy to understand and use. I wouldn’t say this can compare with tools like Audacity but it does provide some nice basic functions.
