Chrome the Maker is a free to use website that helps you create themes for Google Chrome. When you visit the website, you will find the customization controls on the right pane. Under the images tab you are able to set images for frame, toolbar, tab, and background. You can also set the position of the images and whether or not they repeat themselves.

Under the colors tab you can set specific colors through their color codes.

While you make changes to the theme, they are updated in the browser preview on the site’s left pane.

When you are done with customizing your Chrome theme, you can either download it as a CRX file or directly apply it using the available buttons.

How it works

1. Click on any image to download it.
2. Unzip the file and read the terms if you haven’t already.
3. Go to your Twitter settings and choose DESIGN.
4. Choose “Change background image”, browse and upload the file.
5. Make sure “tile background” is checked and SAVE.
